Avatar Season Finale Spoilers all over the fucking place, including the comments, so watch out bitches!

So this podcast is the Opinions of Zoë and…Tater. Luna is unfortunetely absent due to schedule differences, but we will cast with her very soon. We are a little more serious this time, and this podcast was created RIGHT AFTER we finished watching the Series Finale. Normally we would have waited for Luna, but our heads were exploding with opinions/rants/commentaries/theories/etc that we had to start recording immediately. This is also our longest podcast ever, so be forwarned. And yes, there is a bit of Star Wars (damn you Tater!) but she got my (Zoë) permission first! I even make a Star Wars reference, to my own demise, but since when did podcasts ever go as planned? Or, when did we actually plan podcasts?

OMG, a podcast? Yes! Tis true! Like, we do talk about Avatar, but we Comic Con it around as well. This one is sort of random, but we doooo discuss our main topic…Avatar, no wait, Zutara. Uhm, yes. It’s Zutara week on DA so there should be plenty of fan art in the making! Which is good for us. We imply spoilers, but we don’t actually say any, so this could be considered a spoiler-free podcast…for once! It’s still listen at your own risk, cause we don’t pay attention to what we say half the time.

Hey Guys, Luna here, I just wanted to let you know that there might be a significant wait before we’re able to podcast again. I’ve been having some issues and now I’m going to be spending my Independence day in the ER (and I don’t think they even let you have sparklers in there!).

Zoë might go one on one with her Kataang friend for the Zutara v. Kataang debate, but I know she felt bad about doing it without me. I believe she said something along the lines of “It’s not the Opinions of Zoë and Luna if you’re not there!” Which is a true enough statement, but I’d hate for my stuff to leave all of you guys hanging even longer.

So, sorry about the wait, we’re not dead (yet), and I guess Happy 4th to all the Americans. Don’t set too much stuff on fire, yeah?

Zutara Cake

So Luna came up with a genius plan earlier today, and let me tell you what was so cool about it. One, it involved podcasting, and two, cake. She said we should bake a cake for Jay, one of our favorite fans, because he’s been so down lately. At first, I was totally confused, thinking, ‘How the hell is he going to eat it? He lives in fucking San Francisco…’ but Luna then explained, “We’ll make the cake for him, and eat it in his honor. He’ll be there in spirit I’m sure.” I’m not the one to complain when cake is involved, so I was totally down.

Now this cake isn’t any sort of plain boring cake, this is Zutara cake. Made with blue dyed ball frosting and red velvet cake mix. So obviously, with blue frosting (katara) and red velvet (zuko) it makes the perfect match, and the perfect cake!

Now of course we talked about Avatar here, so don’t fret peoples. We haven’t gone COMPLETELY insane just yet. There are Sozin’s Comet spoilers mentioned once again, but next week will be Spoiler-Free peoples, because we are finally doing the Zutara vs. Kataang debate. Yay!

Welp, this is it. Our podcast. And what do we have to say? Nothing. But it’s not our fault!!! There really isn’t anything going on in the world of Avatar at the moment. I must say, this has been a dry week for us Avatards. Now that the NYCC frenzy has died down (or more like petered out…) everyone is standing around going, “Uh, what now?” Luckily, Book 3, Disk 3 was released last Tuesday, and we have the Sozin’s Comet book to look forward to later this month, but after that, there is NOTHING left till July. So of course, Luna and I struggle a bit on a topic to talk about, and finally get rockin’ about a half-hour through the podcast, lol. We discuss a few things, such as the ‘Shipping Wars’ controversy that seems to be spreading like a bloody wildfire. Also we get into SDCC ideas that we want to share with you all (t-shirt designs! Woot!) and…other random pointless crap that we somehow manage to throw in.

We’ll do the Q&A podcast next week for you all, and possibly bring in some special guests (two Kataanger friends of mine) and have a friendly battle. Eh, we’ll see.

This isn’t a podcast post, sorry!

However, Zoë and I were wondering what we could talk about on a regular basis between now and July. I mean, how many spoilers could leak and could they leak about once a week so we can be good little podcasters and not leave our fans waiting? I don’t think so. So, we’re turning our podcast over to you!

You provide the questions, we’ll provide the answers (to the best of our ability). Ask about Zutara, Kataang, Toko, Momappa…characters, settings, voice actors, art work, favorite episodes….ANYTHING avatar related! We might even be able to feild some non-avatar questions but Avatar comes first.

So, let us know what’s on your mind! We love hearing from you guys and we want you to feel the same about us. Now, put on your thinking caps and get some good questions and then just wait for the tangets, rambles, “um’s”, “ah’s”, and “ohmygods” that you’re all so used to by now. Welcome new and old fans of Zoe and Luna. This week, we feel, is one of the best we’ve done and we hope you agree!

Though the title has hardly ANYTHING to do with this podcast, it’s important NONETHELESS!

In this episode, we go back over the NYCC trailer, now that we have seen a ‘high-quality’ version, and have gone through multiple screencaps. Earth Kingdom Chronicles

I know Luna and I promised to do the Zuko/Katara two-part special, but some interesting information fell into our hands, and we felt an urgent podcast was in store. In this episode, we read sections from the book series called The Earth Kingdom Chronicles, an official Avatar collection sold in most major book stores. These books basically cover the entire second season through a certain characters point of view. The editions available are through Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Azula and Zuko, so naturally, Luna and I picked up the Katara and Zuko copies. We know some of you hardcore fans already know the information contained in these books, but there are many others who I am sure have yet to read them.

We revisit ‘The Cave of Two Lovers’ to find out more about the controversal kiss between Aang and Katara, and also look through the eyes of Zuko and Katara when they were trapped in the Crystal Catacombs. This is the Tale of Zuko, as well as the Tale of Katara.

Hello! Apologies for the long wait, things have been crazy and the only time Luna and I could get together was at work, and naturally, our job isn’t willing to pay us to do a podcast. But finally, the wait is over! This week we discuss Zuko’s relationships between the key characters in Avatar, and we also get a little sidetracked and discuss these characters relationships with other characters, so on and so forth. And what podcast is complete without a rant? None! So we rant a bit at why Nickelodeon should play some flippin’ eps before I die of old age.

Our podcasts are unscripted and are most definetely PG-13+ rated, lol. Spoilers are all over the place, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Oh, P.S.! If you wish to write to Nick and send in your jasmine tea bags in protest of a lack of episode airage, I have provided some addresses for you all. I am pretty sure they are accurate, but regardless, as long as it gets sent to some sort of Nick affiliate, our point gets across. Keep the messages light. Sending hate mail wont do us any good, so just ask them nicely to air new eps, ok? Ok.

A look into ‘Cave of Two Lovers

In this episode, Luna and I take a look at the ‘Cave of Two Lovers’ episode (season 2, episode 2) from a Zutarian perspective. We try to find out what really went on in those caves between Aang and Katara. There is a lot of speculation, and Luna and I lay it down flat for you guys to decide for yourselves. Not only that, but Luna comes up with an interesting theory in reference to the legend itself, and how the two lovers relate to our very own Zuko and Katara.
