The things they say, the little snippets of verses they take (OUT OF CONEXT) could confuse and seem foolish to anyone who’s never read it. The first thing they bring up is that Christians hate gay.

…Um… no. We don’t hate gay. Granted in every group there’s gonna be that nutjob in there, someone that actually does hate, but as a whole it’s frankly untrue and insulting to generalize us like that just because we think marriage should be one man and one woman. I have a best friend and a few others that are lesbian. I do not hate them. I love them like sisters. And that you guys or anyone else would lay claim that I hate my sister just because of something she’s feeling, hurts. Although! I do not agree or approve of acting on gay/lesbian impulses. But I also wouldn’t condone a heterosexual couple sleeping together outside of marriage. It’s the same thing to me. Both acts are distasteful and harmful.

Why harmful?

AIDS. Homosexuality has been a key contributor in this deadly STD. It’s been transferred not only by bisexuals, but from homosexuals to hemophiliacs through blood transfusions, users that share needles, and other varies ways. Though AIDS is much more common in heterosexuals, it wasn’t even around (or at least prominent) until the gay rights movement in ’69.

Also homosexual behavior is damaging to the person’s psychological well-being.

Research has shown that there is a significantly higher rate of drug and alcohol abuse among homosexuals, certain mental disorders among the males (plus these poor guys have a 75% of lifetime STD incidence rate). As well as physical trauma to the body is a common problem because it is simply unnatural.

Put a woman with a man and they fit naturally. Don’t they? Get past the giggles and think about it. A woman naturally fits into a man, while two men don’t fit together. Same with women. We are not designed to be sexually intament with members of our own gender!

And I can guess what at least half of you are thinking right now. “But it’s genetic! They were born that way!”

*BUZZ!!!* Wrong.

Though for years scientists have tried to push this argument… they have not found any genetic link in the brain to prove that homosexuality is an inborn trait. I’ve done massive amounts of Google-ing on the subject and I’ve only ever found one article posted everywhere that does not give any sort of scientific explanation other then “We believe we have found a connection” and a picture of DNA.

But for arguments sake, lets say it was genetic and inborn. Then explain this:

Twins. They are genetic clones. Down to the last strand of DNA, their make-up is exactly the same. There was a study done on twin’s genetics by Michael Baily and Richard Pillard a while back (is too lazy to look up the date.) These were men trying to prove that it was genetic. But if genetics are determinative of their sexual behavior, why is it in half the pairs of twins they studied, only one of the twins was gay? If it’s genetic (and twins are genetically EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!), wouldn’t both twins (IN EVERY CASE!!!) be gay?

The behavior is NOT genetic. Sure, it could be psychological, but that’s as far as I would let it go.

Question: what society can even survive on souly homosexual practices? Answer: it simply can’t.

Gays and lesbians can’t reproduce with their same sex partners (obviously). Human culture depends for its very existence on healthy heterosexual relationships. If it wasn’t for heterosexual relationships, there wouldn’t even be homosexual ones. If homosexuality was not only a tolerated practice, but legalized in every state, what’s to stop us from pushing the self-destruct button on the human race? If it was taught to children that being gay is accepted and encouraged, what’s to stop us from breeding (or lack there of) ourselves out of existence?

And the majority of you say you’re evolutionists and also believe in gay rights. Fine and dandy. But if you believe in natural selection, wouldn’t nature select homosexuals to be wiped out since they simply cannot survive on their own, thereby eliminating them since they can’t reprouce?

I’m not saying let’s go on a gay witch-hunt and ‘murder all the homos’. Not at all. They are people and should be treated as such. I’m just presenting the other side and asking you to think about everything I’m saying, even if you don’t agree. I would also appreciate it if before you call all Christians dogmatic and intolerant, when in fact, to call us that makes you intolerant of ~my~ personal view and opinion.

And it seems to me that you have had little to no contact, or poorly represented contact with the Christian community. You don’t have to agree with me, or believe what I believe, but do me a favor and don’t lump all religions together and refer to us as uneducated fools because we believe in something. I apologize on behalf of everyone who bares the name ‘Christian’ that has treated you badly. They were wrong, for whatever reason they hurt you. We are not all like them. If they’re off standing on a soapbox with a bullhorn screaming in your face that you’re all going to hell, then they do not represent the God I have come to know, or the God of the Bible even. I disown people like that. I don’t even accept them into the faith I have.

If you have anything else in the video you want me to comment on, I’d be glad to. I have arguments for them. But this post is already a mile long…

So yeah… please let this just be a discussion topic, and don’t you all aim for the jugular… this is just what I believe to be true, and what conclusions I’ve come to after studying the subject for myself. Be civil… please?

P.S. I don’t remember if it was Ghash or Nightscream, or whoever, but one of you compared Samson to Hercules in Greek mythology. Check your timeline. Samson was centuries before the Greek empire had even thought about taking over. If anything, they stole it from us. =)

Anyway, it’s great listening to you both!! I actually, also listened to the 2 sozins commet one last night!! AHHH!! I’m slowly catching up!

I read a while ago that Catherine Zeta-Jones was also a possibility for the 11th Doctor.

Tho as I am not the kind of guy that concerns about how pants look on other guys… I think he might be a good new Doctor if given the chance, then again, he might flop it horribly…

Let’s watch…

This being my first Doctor change (I started watching from the Christmas invasion, finished series 3, then went back and watched season 1) I just have to imagine that everyone feels this way when the change is upon us and it usually works out pretty well. So I’m going to go ahead and trust the casting for now.

I’m going to miss David.
