Flog Your Molly
We said we would do a podcast a month, and we stand by our promise! Here were discuss lots of topics, from TV shows, sports, musicals, etc, as well as our new obsession for pie.
Also, we give you a list of things that you need to see, do, and experience. Which is the Zoe and Luna way of doing things (aka the right way of doing things). So make sure you’re taking notes this time.
Enjoy, my fellow Zutarians.

Glad for the update, despite crappy $10 mic with epic fuz at the beginning. (Much later on it was easier to ignore) The Zutara project is just a rewrite of the finale I believe, apparently Dante Basco is really interested in it. Or so I’ve heard. I visit Capstara quite a bit, and comment maybe once every 10 posts, I can never quite get into their lulz and fun.

oooOOOOOoooo new pod cast must go listen NOW!!
Nightscream said this on October 13th, 2008 at 9:41 am
Dante Basco is a Zutarian, is he? lol.
You guys want to use me for something? Should I be scared?
I wish I could go with you guys to Knott’s Scary Farm… but I have class *booooo* and I’ll think about Halloween at Disneyland. I have class on Halloween day too, *god my life sucks* but maybe I can go on the weekend. *sigh*
It would be nice if everyone here can actually hang out at least once. I wonder if we can even arrange that… over Christmas break even? I know everyone will be off by then.
Youkai Yume said this on October 13th, 2008 at 11:09 am
Yes Youkai, be afraid, be very afraid.
And I think we have another reason why Zutara should have happened. Zuko (dante) ships Zutara!!!! What more could Bryke want?!?!
Luna said this on October 13th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
Three things…
I could hear you both perfectly.
Watch Ouran damnit!
The only smell worse then fish, is fish and flowers. =D
This broadcast was brought to you by the letter 3!!
…Oh wait…
Jessie said this on October 13th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
er… but if they don’t get the yaoi it could get scary XD
Youkai Yume said this on October 13th, 2008 at 8:47 pm
Even if the Yaoi is only staged. God, I miss Ouran. I haven’t drawn fanart for that anime in forevah!!!! I did do a one page comic strip though for a fanbook that was sold at anime expo this year…
Youkai Yume said this on October 13th, 2008 at 8:48 pm
It’s not like hardcore yaoi… they just like making girls squeal. =3 that’s why the twins pwn all. After episode 21, and you go back and watch all the yaoi, it’s rather amusing…
Jessie said this on October 13th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
i’m not really a yoai fangirl, but I do admit I love the twins. I’m a Haruhi/Hikaru shipper. Have you been reading the latest chapters?! *it’s been so long since I discussed Ouran with anyone*
8D
Everyone’s prolly thinking we’re mental at this point, eh?
“What are they talking about? What’s yaoi?” D8
Youkai Yume said this on October 13th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
I know you are. I’ve seen your fanart. I’m Hika/Haru too =3 Your art is the best Hika/Haru i’ve found so far… and I’ve been searching long and hard for it -.-;;;
Jessie said this on October 13th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
gem2niki does the best HikaHaru I’d have to argue. She even has doujinshi books she sold (which was the one I was talking about earlier). You MUST have seen her stuff. She’s like the HikaHaru queen.
Did you go to Anime Expo this year? They actually had a host club there where you go in and have tea and cake and chit chat with the Host Club. Complete with tacky vase and blinking arrows XD It was awesome.
Youkai Yume said this on October 13th, 2008 at 10:05 pm
Bah, I know all about it. I didn’t go because I thought they would have an equally amazing set up at Comic Con, since Comic Con has ~everything~. But no. All they had was that stupid vase (which is technically broken, or else the series wouldn’t be in existence)and a bunch of fliers advertising the dvd dub (which I am so getting for my birthday).
Though I did get Hitachiin plushies. =3 That pretty much made my life… Zoe and Luna actually helped me look for them. They had no idea what I was talking about so I was like “just… little plush toys that look like what I’m wearing!’ =P
Jessie said this on October 13th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
LOL! I got my Hitachiin plushies at the AX the year before that, along with a Haruhi. I like using their little puppets for finger puppets.
You have read the manga chapters right? *wants to talk about newest developments and gripe about them*
Youkai Yume said this on October 13th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
I love Oran! “kiss kiss fall in love!!”
Nightscream said this on October 14th, 2008 at 10:11 am
Awesome, they’re talking about anime in our comment boxes.
Oy!
Zoë said this on October 14th, 2008 at 12:52 pm
Watch it damnit!!
Jessie said this on October 14th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
It’s like anime invasion! Did you guys listen to the podcast at all? We no speak of anime! We speak of pushing daisies, heroes, and EXTRAS!
Pay attention chillins!
Luna said this on October 14th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
Hahahahaha. The only anime I’ve ever watched is the stuff my ex forced upon me…ughhh.
Zoë said this on October 14th, 2008 at 4:48 pm
x.x You don’t understaaaaand!! -.-;;; hey peoplez. I watch all four flippin’ seasons of Dr. Who, guided the poor Comic Con virgin around San Diego, watched Dr. Horrible, read all of the A.U. TWICE if not more!, subscribed and unsubscribed and subscribed again to your podcast on itunes to boost your ratings, have become an MST3K fan, and flippin’ gave you a Comic Con badge!
My point is, it’s amazing, and as your devote fan, I am ordering you to watch the amazing or else the world will die. And that’s a bad thing to happen.
That’s right.
You both will have to watch Ouran, or else the world will die.
Just watch the first episode, and if you don’t like it, then I’ll back off.

Thanks God for an update! I needed something funny to get me through the endless art projects, and Catherine Tate was starting to get a little repetitive. D’:
Quality actually wasn’t that bad. I had to turn up my MP3 a little, but other than that, it was all good.
Jackie said this on October 15th, 2008 at 3:41 am
AND! I’m watching Pushing Daises this second. So… meh!
Jessie said this on October 15th, 2008 at 2:07 pm

Jessie said this on October 15th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
LaneTea and I have a Zutara song for Zoe if she wants to sing it. It’s a parody off the song Teardrops on My Guitar by Taylor Swift, we call it Teardrops on My Scar. If you don’t want anything to do with it, that’s cool.. we just thought we’d share it with you.
Keep Rockin’ With the Podcasts!
Teardrops On My Scar
Katara looks at me, I fake a frown so Mai won’t see That I want and I need everything that she can’t be I’ll bet he’s wonderful, that boy she talks about And he’s got the love that I had to live without
Katara talks to me, I listen so very carefully That I can’t even see anyone when she’s with me She says she’s so in love, she’s finally got it right, I wonder if she knows she’s all I think about at night
[Chorus:]
She’s the reason for the teardrops on my scar The only thing that keeps me wishing on a shooting star She’s the fire in my heart that keeps buring, don’t know why it’s true
Katara walks by me, can she tell that I can’t breathe? And there she goes, so perfectly, The kind of flawless I wish I could be He’d better hold her tight, give her all his love Look in those beautiful eyes and know he’s lucky cause
[Repeat Chorus]
So I walk home alone, as I turn out the light I’ll put her picture down and maybe Get some sleep tonight
She’s the reason for the teardrops on my scar The only one who’s got enough of me to heal my heart She’s the fire in my heart that keeps burning, don’t know why it’s true She’s the time taken up, but there’s never enough And she’s all that I need to fall into..
Katara looks at me, I fake a frown so Mai won’t see.
SarcasticLeaves said this on October 15th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
That sounds soo incredibly sad. I don’t really listen to Taylor Swift (I’m more of a Carrie Underwood fan) but i’ll check out the song and see if the chords are easy enough for me to play on my guitar!
Zoë said this on October 17th, 2008 at 2:10 am
Oh, just realized I haven’t left a comment for this one…and now I don’t remember a whole lot of it.
You guys are talking about things that I know very little about, but it’s still entertaining. I was listening to a lot of it in my car and I always have to turn the volume really high to hear it right, so it was even more of a struggle this time with y’all being so quiet…I’m donating some money to help you get a better mic!
And SarcasticLeaves, that’s really good. I personally don’t like that song (Carrie Underwood ftw Zoë!) but the way you changed the words is really good.
Madi said this on October 25th, 2008 at 10:27 am
Dear Zoë and Luna… now you have to watch Ouran. Because Irrel has not only seen it, but loves it. Therefore, now you must watch it plus all the other reasons I listed four, five, and six posts ago.
Huzzah~!
Jessie said this on October 25th, 2008 at 9:21 pm
Oh, Jessie… let it go. I love Ouran too, but if they wanna watch it, they’ll watch it. *pats*
Youkai Yume said this on October 26th, 2008 at 8:40 am
…how many episodes are there in Ouran? Is it like those monstrously long animes, like Inu Yasha, or a shorter one?
Zoë said this on October 27th, 2008 at 12:06 am
It lasts about 26 episodes.
Youkai Yume said this on October 27th, 2008 at 11:06 am
I won’t give up *twitch*
Jessie said this on October 27th, 2008 at 3:35 pm
Ok dude, i’ll totally endure and watch it. Give me a week or two, cause I’m in the middle of midterms. : )
Zoë said this on October 28th, 2008 at 12:30 am
Jessie, I’m totally about to break your heart…
I didn’t like it. At all. And we’ll probably go over it in the next podcast so I wont say why here, but I already know you’re going to hate my reason lol. I’m know for being illogical and picky.
Luna said this on October 28th, 2008 at 4:36 pm
As long as you gave it a fair chance, that’s fine. If you don’t like it, you don’t like it.
Jessie said this on October 28th, 2008 at 4:40 pm
What I can’t stand is when someone decides they don’t like something before they even try it or are determined not to enjoy something just because of some preconceived notion.
Jessie said this on October 28th, 2008 at 11:06 pm
It actually has nothing to do with a preconcieved notion at all. It may seem like we’re all anti-anime but about 85% of my friends are otaku (yeah, I knows the language!) so I’ve been exposed to a crap load of it and I’m not a person who just hates anime because they hate it.
I finally got around to watching Fruits Basket and actually really liked it. I thought it was super cute and I actually cheated and read a scan of the final chapter of the manga to see how it really ended. Now all the toys my friend gave me years ago have meaning. I even have a juzu bead bracelet (uhh…I think that’s what it’s called). I had to call my friend Lyn after years of not really talking to her and tell her that I get it now and that all the stuff she gave me is pretty cool.
Luna said this on October 29th, 2008 at 1:13 am
Ah, Fruits Basket…Was a big fan of the anime. Loved the manga…at first… and then it got reaaaally emo and a complete whine-fest and I felt that it lost some of its’ charm. Still doesn’t stop me from liking it quite a bit. Although, I was never a big Kyo/Tohru fan *gets bricked*
Youkai Yume said this on October 29th, 2008 at 2:07 pm
Waaaaaaaaaait, Luna, you actually WATCHED Fruits Basket!? And how much did you watch of Ouran!? Do you have it then? Cause if I can steal it from you, that would save me some time…
Zoë said this on October 30th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
OMG, Zoe, go to veoh.com and search for “Ouran” and all the episodes should come up. It’s free, and you watch it streaming.
Youkai Yume said this on October 30th, 2008 at 5:17 pm
ugh. never mind, all of the ENGLISH subs are gone. They only have it in Italian. You should be able to torrent it though.

That has every episode. Sorry, it has pop-ups. =/
Jessie said this on October 30th, 2008 at 5:26 pm
So that was an INCREDIBLY awkward episode to watch, but it most definetely had its moments.
“A Commoner Coffee Demo by a Commoner”
I won’t be as biased as Luna, and i’ll watch another episode, lol.
Zoë said this on November 1st, 2008 at 1:00 am
It IS a little hard to wrap around at first, but if you stick through it, I think you’ll be able to find the charm in it.
However, it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and that’s understandable. I found it hard to resist after two, three episodes.
Youkai Yume said this on November 1st, 2008 at 10:26 am
The first episode I ever saw was episode eight, and somehow that was mild enough for me to like it. Plus, my best friend is totally addicted to the show, and I wanted to understand what she was talking about all the time.
