  1. FIRST COMMENT TAKE THAT CHEY! I PWN AGAIN!

Wow…I think the fact that I’m the first comment is a sign that I’m too obsessed…>>

    *goes to listen*

  2. Ok, finished listening to it and…well let me see if I can remember everything I wanted to say:

First of all sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, and I have watched the videos from con that are already up, like the Bryke cartoon, the book 4, and the Q&A. I was pissed after watching the Q&A because, like you mentioned, the soundtrack and Ursa questions were the only good ones. I hated how there were so many questions about the movie because now isn’t the time. We’re going to hear more about that, and there’s always next year to bring that up, so why don’t you ask about the unanswered questions relating to the animated series?! Ugh I was so disappointed, and with how SHORT the Q&A was, they didn’t give enough time for it. I heard Zmann, and I knew it was him cause of his shoutout to TZO, but yeah I was disappointed in his question. Sounds like he had a better question planned, and it sucks that he didn’t ask it. Maybe he blanked out?…Who knows, but still, I REALLY wanted someone to ask about spiritbending and why the hell it was thrown in and why the hell Aang gave up absolutely nothing while Sokka had to lose both his weapons. Honestly, I was really hoping someone would have the balls to ask it, but no, and I think the two questions you mentioned were the only ones that gave us any information we wanted. I’m going next year, and I don’t care what it takes I’m getting to the front of that fucking Q&A and I’m asking about that. I don’t care if it’s a year after the series ended, I want to know what they have to say about it, and I’m sure they won’t bring it up before then.

Ok, away from my pissed off rant about the Q&A…I thought the book 4 thing was funny, and at first I didn’t really care I just sort of laughed about it, but after I thought it was kind of mean. I’m not personally offended or anything, but I definitely thought that the way they portrayed the couple was EXACTLY how Maiko was in the first part of season 3. They just made out every two seconds and we got no development or anything. Again, not that bad, but I think it was a little like they were kicking us while we were down more than doing any sort of fanservice which I think they should have done instead of just more anti-Zutara kataang stuff.

The cartoon Bryke was cool, too, I loved Bryan in it! Him bringing up Ursa was so funny. I wish people hadn’t screamed so much so we could hear what he said about book 4 and what he said after he mentioned the fans upset about “Zutara issues” but the screaming was too loud to hear, and I don’t think anyone knows what was said. Bryan: So…uh…Where’s Zuko’s mom? *quick big smile* Haha, loved it.

I also thought that was so funny that Luna was the one who wanted to boo at the kiss and Zoë said no! I’m so glad you did though, Luna, you’re awesome! I would have boo’d, no doubt. Has Zoë turned to the dark side? She’s Kataang and Maiko now? Nooo!

Um..what else…oh the puppet guy. He only had Aang? Cause I saw a video of him making the Zuko and Katara puppets make out and then Zmann stepping in and breaking them up and saying something like “The Dai Li ships Kataang”…that was probably just a different day than when you saw him I guess.

That little speech Luna gave was so sad! I wanted to be like “No! You can still podcast definitely! You can talk about…” but I couldn’t think of anything, and it’s so sad! Avatar is over, and it sucks that there’s nothing more to discuss about it. I love you guys, though, and you’re so fun to listen to, so I’ll definitely let you know if there’s something you guys could talk about I’d like to hear. I don’t read Twilight, but it’s popular so I’m sure some people would…I don’t know. It just sucks ’cause you guys have about the exact same opinions as I do as far as Avatar went, and it was awesome to hear that I wasn’t the only one who had those opinions.

I would love for you guys to keep podcasting, but obviously if you don’t have anything to podcast about it wouldn’t really work…I’ll try to think of some things you could talk about that would be interesting, it’s a shame there’s no more Avatar stuff to discuss unless you go back to some earlier things if there’s something interesting that you notice or something…I’d listen to it…

Ok, sorry for the long comment, but I basically just responded to everything I remember you talking about…Thanks for the awesome podcasts, can’t wait to see the pictures! =]

  3. Definitely keep pod casting girls! I love the tangents you two get on when you’re really passionate about something you like. It doesn’t have to be about Avatar, there are a lot of good movies coming out soon, and you can do movie reviews or something like that.

  4. Well, first I’d like to say that from what I’ve seen and heard about the panel, it was a letdown. I personally didn’t like the whole Zutara/Kataang video. I get that Mike and Bryan were trying to be funny and let Zutarians know that they were aware of the huge demand for Zutara, but I thought it was more mocking than it could have been. It was like telling Zutarians ‘look at what you’ve been supporting, how silly is that?’ I wasn’t really offended or anything, I just didn’t like it. I can’t wait to see the pictures, though! oh and did you banish anyone when you cosplayed, Zoe? I really hope that you guys keep podcasting, even if it’s less frequent. I like Twilight, so I’d listen to that. And you two are so witty and funny that I’d probably listen to you talk about anything :) Either way, I hope you come back for the Avatar movie/potential spin-offs. (did the creators ever give a straight-up answers about those, anyway?) Last thing, where’s the title of this podcast come from? Something at the con, I’m assuming?

  5. Madi: Yeah on the day of the panel Kevin only had the Aang puppet with him (well…actually he may have had more of them inside the room because it appeared as though he already had seats saved for him and he was just hanging out with a empty chibi appa costume and aang puppet…I don’t really know what was going on there. But he was super nice and did do a Zutara makeout session.) And, yes, the panel was a total let down. 2 hour panel 44 minutes of which went to showing something we’ve already seen, 30 minutes of yelling for EvERY LITTLE THING, about 30 minutes of mini bryke and the fanart stuff…it left very little time for questions and crappy questions seemed to be the flavor of the day. What can you do? There’s always next year right?

Emi: The title of this podcast is an inside joke between Zoë and I. There was this Sokka cosplayer and he was a pretty good Sokka (he did watertribe and Kyoshi warrior Sokka) but we both agreed that we’d ditch him in a minute if Hugh Jackman walked by. And then I think I just sang these words to the tune of the nomad song “Don’t let the cave in get you down, Sokka” and we were basically singing it all weekend. Fun Times!

  6. you know i thought long and hard after i heard this before i posted. i sat and i thought, is it worth it for them to keep pod casting even without avatar? wat will they even talk about? will i care? avatar is the geekiest thing about me besides star wars, and well, thats just not happening, which doesnt upset me or anything, im just saying…….

so then i thought about well, is it just like wat luna said, about mabey ppl wanting them around just for the sake of not leaving, just for the sake of holding onto something that was so good for so long……..

i thought about wat it was that i liked about hearing u guys and why i looked forward to hearing ur opinions. i always cracked up when u would say some insanly funny thing or how u had the same thoughts about the show that i did….

at first i was just plain shocked that someone could make me laugh out loud every few minutes (or less) just by random thoughts or w/e…..

i tried to pinpoint the stuff that first caught me, was it the avatar stuff, the tangents, the random swearing? WAT WAS IT????

then i realized, it wasnt just those things, it was YOU GUYS…. ive talked to other ppl about avatar, weve had similar thoughts, weve joked around and w/e….. i have friends that swear so randomly so much i wonder if we all have turrets…. and im so ADD that random tangents are just so normal to i barely notice when other ppl do it, and i just dont care……

but for some reason, when u guys throw all that together, idk, its awesome, and then I remembered one particular day listening to u guys while I was just doing stuff around the house and I thought, u know, they are so flippen amazing, id listen to them, even if if they WERENT talking about avatar…….

Idk wat it is, but u guys rock and I love just plain hearin the way u look at things no matter wat they are, and if u wanna talk about twilight, hell, I’ll go but the damn books, w/e I really don’t care, its not exactly the content, its YOU

Wat im trying to say is, screw the content., if it’s the opinions of zoe and luna, im there…..

  7. ahhh, this is so sad. Maybe make it just once a month until the movie comes :/ , but i dunno, Maybe talk about your opinions on how you think zutara could happen if the avatar world carried on? I dunno,I’m sorta sad right now;_;

  8. Gotta go with Nightscream and Cassie here, The Opinions of Zoë and Luna is great because of Zoë and Luna not because of Avatar, at least in my opinion, humble as it might be, and I am still quite interested in your’s and Tatter’s pet proyect about writting a Sourcebook of sorts for the Avatarverse, for which I hope you contact me soon enough btw XD

As far as posible new themes go, I don’t watch Twilight but chances are I would finally go for it after much insistance of my friends, but not because of them but because of you xDDD I think I hear a refference to Pushing Dasies there somewhere too and I LOVE THE SHOW, so that can also be done, other subjects could really come along I guess, new shows will air soon enough, but from the top of my head you could spoil movies too and not just the Avatar ones, cause you are Spoiltastic!!

  9. You guys should keep podcasting. I really don’t care what kind of podcast it is, you guys are just entertaining to listen to.

  10. Ok I had a comment typed out but for whatever reason the internet freaked and it went away…ugh.

But basically it was…Cassie and Ghash are right, it’s about you guys, not just Avatar or Zutara. I would totally read Twilight just so I could listen to your podcast if you did one on that.

Oh, and also that I think you should still do a discussion about Southern Raiders and Ember Island Players (mostly SR), since I was glad that I wasn’t the only Zutarian disappointed in the Zuko/Katara interaction (or lack thereof). I remember you guys mentioning that in a podcast after the original SR podcast, and I’d like to hear more on your opinions on that episode, ’cause it sounds a lot like what I thought of it.

A movie review podcast would be cool, but Zoë doesn’t watch movies! XDD

  11. Oh I’m with Madi on a review/discussion of Ember Island Players and Southern Raiders! :)

  12. dont stop podcasting

    ur AMAZING!!!!!

i like how u guys just speak the truth and ur random opinions and u crack me up every time i listen. it doesnt matter to me wat ur talking about, as long as its u talking

i know im not on here alot but im still a huge fan and i love u guys, u should keep going as long as u stay urselves

  13. I swear…next year I’m going to go for sure. I’ve already decided that me and my friend are going to be Zutara (If he grows out his hair.) and I’m going to spazz with you guys.

You guys better not stop podcasting! I don’t care if you guys don’t talk about Avatar, I listen to the podcast because I think you guys are awesome and funny. And I’d definitely listen to you guys talk about Twilight, in fact…I’m going to the midnight book opening thingy this Friday with one of my friends! OMG!

  14. I just started listening about a month ago, but I’ve been to lazy to post, so here I am. Anyways, you guys are amazing, and it would be wonderful to hear your opinions on Twilight. I’m really excited about the book, so I want to know what you think about Breaking Dawn. It’s fine if you’re not talking about Avatar, though there’s a lot you could talk about. I have to agree w/pretty much everyone else that a review of Ember Island Players and Southern Raiders would be awesome. Also, you guys are just fun to listen to, no matter what you’re talking to.

  15. Yo. My little sister and I only started listening to you guys about… 2 months ago? She is a definitely a zutarian, but me? I don’t even like avatar. Too many holes in the plot, poor pacing, etc… Anyway, the point is that I like you guys. I find you funny and observant, and that is why I listen to you. If you started talking about other things I would continue to listen, and so would my sister. The only reason I haven’t commented before is because I haven’t been caught up on the casts(still not, nbut thought I’d post anyway). Keep up the good work. ^^

    Love from Louisiana - Atlas

  16. Id probably listen to you guys talk about anything. Even something random like Rainbow Cheese Iguanas. =]

And i definately like the idea of a TSR/EIP review, evven though..its been forever. But if you dont feel like it, eh thats cool too.

So this post is mostly about me being pretty neutral/indifferent.

    So..yay.

  17. I really want you girls to keep up with the podcasting. I like listening to you two talk. XD Please keep up with the weekly podcasts too. I need my weekly fix of you two. ^_^

  18. This is why Fandomme is ultimate:

For me, Aang is not the hero of ATLA. Zuko is. Zuko is the one who has change and growth and development. Conversely, all of Aang’s views get validated and he doesn’t have to change his ways at all – he gets his druthers and never has to make a decision that might sacrifice his personality or identity. He remains insulated from the world and its problems, and rewarded for his weakness. Does he defeat the Fire Lord? Yes. But does he conquer any of his inner demons? No. And it’s sad, because while the others have grown up, he has not. He is Peter Pan, and the Lion-Turtle’s back is his Neverland.

She wrote this little bit at the end of her Stormbenders epilogue, there’s more and it’s all interesting, but this bit really struck me. Aang is Peter Pan and that lion turtle is Neverland. Awesome.

  19. That’s so awesome, Luna! I never did get to finishing Stormbenders, so I didn’t get to this part. I have been almost done with the last chapter before the epilogue forever! I just keep putting it off…I will definitely go read the rest of what she wrote, though, since it looks like it’s full of win.

“He is Peter Pan, and the Lion-Turtle’s back is his Neverland.”

    So true!

  20. Sure hope you do keep up the podcast, even if it is just once a month.

Actually… A podcast on your thoughts of the Twilight series would be awesome. And possibly one on your opinions of Breaking Dawn would be pretty cool. I know there are a lot of different views on how it was written.
