OMG, a podcast? Yes! Tis true! Like, we do talk about Avatar, but we Comic Con it around as well. This one is sort of random, but we doooo discuss our main topic…Avatar, no wait, Zutara. Uhm, yes. It’s Zutara week on DA so there should be plenty of fan art in the making! Which is good for us. We imply spoilers, but we don’t actually say any, so this could be considered a spoiler-free podcast…for once! It’s still listen at your own risk, cause we don’t pay attention to what we say half the time.
Also E-MAIL or MESSAGE us your t-shirt size if you are going to Comic Con. We also want your info so we can plan a meet-up time. DO NOT post it in the comments, cause we get bazillions of comments, and it’s kind of a hassle to dig through them all. Uhm, ok, that’s it I guess? OH WAIT! Paypal! OMG! I LOVE KRISTEN STEWART. She has some of the most natural fluent acting i’ve ever seen…but the movie looks like it’ll suck, hardwicke is nuts…

I remember telling Jay that if he went to comic con and decided to cosplay, he should do Agni Kai Zhoa. He definitely has the muscles and sideburns to pull it off, and doesn’t have to worry about making fire nation armor because he can just go SHIRTLESS!!!

Zoë you freaked me out! Your whole thought process on what to dress up as was kind of like mine, except mine was just an “if” I ever dressed up. Azula’s my favorite, but when I looked at her outfits I saw how much there was to them, so I wouldn’t want to do that. Then I was looking at her robe in The Awakening and thought that would be so much easier.
Didn’t think of the hairbrush thing, though. That’s a good idea, and it would be so awesome! You need to take a video camera. I want to see Zoë throwing the brush at someone! Jay, Cassie, bring cameras, I want to see what you guys do at con since I can’t go =[

Ok, here is the rest of my comment (I never got to finish it last time because House came on…)
I was a fan of Stormbenders until the newest chapter…it was just weird. One minute katara hates him as usual, and then the next they’re freaking fornicating! There wasn’t enough development for my tastes. I would have rather waited longer for better Zutara then get that crap.
OMG…I have to go right now again…I’ll have to post another comment when I finally finish this damn podcast…

Yeah, I thought scene itself was ok, but the lead up to it was really disappointing. I was just saying to someone before that chapter that I loved how they haven’t had their first kiss yet and I had a feeling it was going to have a really good buildup for when they actually did. I guess I jinxed it…

me too, aahaha toast rocks !!!! but i toast other food i my super special secret toaster oven, as we call it in my house, aahaha….
and yes, it blew up, lol…. my cousin mark has an insane hatred for my sideburns (which he’s jealous of) and he comes up with these really crazy diabolical plans to destroy them… once he tried to singe them off with battery acid on a q-tip while i was sleeping, but his brother brian stopped him…. then he put duck tape on them while i was sleeping and wrapped the ends of the tape around my bed posts, made loud noises to wake me up and so i would rip them off when i sat up…. instead i just kept getting yanked back onto the bed….. the last one was when he stood in the shower until i went in there to get ready, and when i moved the curtain, he jumped out with a hair trimmer and tried to buzz them off…….
however, THIS time….. he stuck a paper napkin in the toaster, in hopes that it would BURN them off when i leaned over to get my toast….. didn’t work… it did set the toaster in fire though….. we put it out, but it started up again, so mark grabbed the little hose thing at the sink and sprayed it…. still plugged in…. and it blew up.
aahahaha, it actually flew like, a foot up in the air, and then shot off the counter and the plug was sparking and our power went out….
at first we all just stood there and then we all collapsed laughing, except brian, he was REALY mad, but oh well…….. it was epic, i wish we caught it on film………

Hey…Julie here … I have kinda been stalking your podcast since I found a link to it from Irrel… (I hope that’s not creepy)..anyway…first time commenting so here I go… Theory on Ozai & Ursa (even though you only talked about them for a couple minutes) - I have thought that Ozai maybe had loved Ursa, but she did not really return feelings (kind of like the arranged marriage between Kana & Pakku). When Ursa chose protecting her son as opposed to staying with him, he got crazy jealous and angry (not to say he wasn’t always power-hungry, just that it made him sour towards Zuko, hence banishment and burnage of Poor Zuzu’s face). I mean, Ozai seems to look pretty depressed in Zuko Alone after Ursa leaves (considering we can’t see his face). On another note…I’m so excited for Southern Raiders. Katara looks so kickass in the commercial…plus Zuko is there (yay!) Hope you’re not creeped out that I’m stalking your podcast By the way…crazy Azula costume with brush throwing action sounds awesome *wishes she lived somewhere near California so she could kidnap cupcakes*

Madi, I know it’s a little late, but you can always just put those ninja stars into your cake…just make sure you take them out before you eat it.

My brother suggested making it a red and blue yin yang, so I went with that! It’s three layers (thin layers…it looks more like two)
I’m freaking out right now, because it’s storming here. At first I thought it was cool, cause storms ship Zutara and all, but now we can’t get a satellite signal! If we don’t have one by 7:00 I’m going to throw a fit!! >.

Phew, the signal came back just in time! About 10 minutes before it started! I was freaking out!

well, this just sucks! Due to having to move this week 08/14/08 I totally missed the episodes! I won’t have cable until next Tuesday (I’ll have to download it I guess so woohoo for internet!). I’m also going to miss Comic-Con for the first time in 10 years due to this move! I had to switch up my vacation request due to the move so I don’t have those 4 days off any more !_! (sobs!) I had really hoped to meet everyone that was attending this years Con.
Oh well maybe next year huh? BTW in downtown San Diego there are lots of fast food places you can go to. Avoid the Gaslamp Quarter thats where the expensive places are. Walk about 2 blocks away there is a Ralphs & if you hit Horton Plaza Mall (which is 3 blocks away from the Con) there is a food court. There are also some really good 99 cent chinese food places around Downtown.

Oh and BTW you better choose which panel you go to MS3k or Avatar, Cause if you go to one you WON’T be able to get into the other. If tradition holds true they won’t clear the room out between panels and a lot of ppl will be staying for Avatar. I was in line for and hour for Avatar and STILL didn’t get in, and there is no saving seats.
The popular panels fill up fast so you need to pick wisely…(that means pick avatar!)
