Zutara Cake
So Luna came up with a genius plan earlier today, and let me tell you what was so cool about it. One, it involved podcasting, and two, cake. She said we should bake a cake for Jay, one of our favorite fans, because he’s been so down lately. At first, I was totally confused, thinking, ‘How the hell is he going to eat it? He lives in fucking San Francisco…’ but Luna then explained, “We’ll make the cake for him, and eat it in his honor. He’ll be there in spirit I’m sure.” I’m not the one to complain when cake is involved, so I was totally down.
Now this cake isn’t any sort of plain boring cake, this is Zutara cake. Made with blue dyed ball frosting and red velvet cake mix. So obviously, with blue frosting (katara) and red velvet (zuko) it makes the perfect match, and the perfect cake!
Now of course we talked about Avatar here, so don’t fret peoples. We haven’t gone COMPLETELY insane just yet. There are Sozin’s Comet spoilers mentioned once again, but next week will be Spoiler-Free peoples, because we are finally doing the Zutara vs. Kataang debate. Yay!

have told you today about your awesomeness? well, i have to say i am very impressed, podcast was like, nothing avatar ish, almost, but i absolutely loved it…tho im more impressed with the way you were able tho put up with poor jay all night….(no one else will understand this, but o well)
so ya, i cant believe it, you guys must really care about us fans, lol….. and just so you know, jay had a small case of turrets and yelled it out just as i came in to say something, and i was like, hmm, ok…
totally walked away, before it sank in and i was like, whoa, wait a sec! and went back in and i was like wait, what? and he was like, uuuuuuhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm….. z-zutara?
and i was like ehhh???

and thats how it happened….ya, really hard to understand, there was lots of stuttering on his part and hand gestures from me and noises and pointing to screens and then laughing and goofing around and wow, this was so much drama, for nothing, though that was him i think, i had almost nothing to do with it, lol
ahh well, i just thought you should know he lives, and we are good friends as always and he fell asleep watching, yup you guessed it: Avatar!!! whoop whoop
and so, we are so very happy to have started listening to you guys, cuz your fucking gods and we love you,
once again, i must apologize for jay, he gets sooo…….idk, worked up sometimes ??? so thanks for dealing with him and all, hahaha

i completely agree that aang is really self centered and more concerned with what he wants and is comfortable with than whats best for the world…..
and yes, this does have to do with maturity, its a question of what his priorities are. zuko gave up everything to do what he thought was best for his counrty and the world, what did aang give up for the world? O thats right….. NOTHING!!!!
i really dont like that kid…… stupid bald kid….. stupid arrow….. who would pass up the awesomeness of zuko for ugly, short, bald, wimpy, no-muscles-at-all aang???
and of course, lets not forget the scars, zukos is on his face, but its better than what aangs got… aangs looks……. disturbing, reminds me of, nvm, its just gross, okay?
so yeah, i can se how you would be frustrated at katara, bc it doesnt make sense to me either…….

I love your podcasts! You two sound like so much fun and you make me laugh every time! I love your theories, too. I see myself as more of a “rational” Zutarian as well, and it’s nice to find other people who think the same as me! Several times you just take the words right out of my mouth.
Aang bugs me, too. He’s an immature little kid who is more concerned with himself than the rest of the world. I guess he’s only 12…another reason a 14-year-old girl who treats him like a son shouldn’t like him! Oedipus!
I wish I could go to comic con, or Disneyland, because you guys would be so fun to hang out with. I love the Zutarian ninja idea too…I would so do it.

I think the shoutbox freezes when it gets 100 shouts an hour or something. I can make it unlimited, but that costs money, and I’m already paying for the server (because Luna is a CHEAPSCAPE even though IIII am the one with the car payment!). And Jay, I will no longer cover up the mic and mess with the cords. I have a bad habit of chewing on them mid-podcast (jk). And Rose, sorry about your name! Lol, I fixed it on the list. Funny how it took us two months to figure it out, eh?

Wow, I really want cake now. Imma go make cake!!! ZUTARA CAKE! I didn’t mean to talk about food yum-yums just now. Anyway, I actually heard something different about Southern Raiders. It was up on http://mischabrannon.deviantart.com in her journal. I dunno if it’s real or what. Maybe you guys can find something on it? I’m trying to find more on it…if that counts for anything.
“The Southern Raiders
* The gang will have to travel to the Fire Nation (without Hakoda, Teo, Haru, The Duke and Chit Sang).
* The gang will learn more about the Southern Water Tribe’s past.
* Sokka and Katara’s mother’s name, history, and appearance will be revealed.
* It has been revealed that Katara agrees to go with Zuko to free hama out of prison to ask her more about the raids, but ends up fighting her again.
* Returning from the Southern Water Tribe, Katara and Zuko return back to the Western Air Temple unnoticed. The next day, the gang decide to leave for Ember Island in preparation for the final battle that is soon to come. Unfortunately, The gang decide not to take Hakoda and the rest due to the fact that they can’t protect that many people so with that decided they leave them on Crescent Island, the island Avatar Roku destroyed in Book 1. Telling them that they’ll be back soon, they leave for Ember Island fully dressed in their fire nation clothes, except Zuko who is already of the Fire Nation……
* As they approach Ember Island, Zuko warns them that the locals will give them a WARM welcome…. meaning that they must show fire to enter the Fire Nation island.
* Sokka comes up with a plan to create “fake firebending”. Aang and Zuko produce two small flames and Aang airbends an invisible air sphere that he can bend so it’ll look like Sokka, Katara, Toph and Suki are firebending. ”

I just want everyone to know that, while Zoë is paying like 5 bucks a month for the server, I am often buying movie tickets, movie nachos (which are the most expesive kind of nachos) and lots of other food. So, we’re totally even, if anything, I’m a little ahead. I am no bum sirs!
Annnd I didn’t tell you about the fanfiction thing because I just do stuff when I think about it, so I did it then told the people so they would know then….just forgot to tell you. But you found out and no one is hurt or anything so….zip it.
And interesting things going on there Amy…very interesting. I almost hope that Souther Raiders stays well hidden and unspoiled because it’s like the only thing left worth waiting for, you know?
And I don’t know why but, Joë and Joukai crack me up. I can’t even say those words without laughing. It’s like Momappa. Way funny to say.

darn i’ve been keeping an eye out for new podcasts and i missed 2 of them. well one of them was apparently up on my birthday so i have an excuse but yeah.
anyway i found an interesting comment on DH, i remember you don’t like that forum but yeah^^; and sorry if i was ever rude to you, there was an article for the avatar movie that called aang selfish and this one person found it offensive. i thought it was pretty accurate^^;. i think no one is able to connect to aang because he doesn’t grow at all. the other characters do. granted i like him more than sokka but that’s beside the point.
and i hope you’re happy. i stayed up till 4 AM my time to catch up on the podcasts^^;;. i’m gonna be exhausted at work tomorrow. but on the bright side i won’t get irritated cause i won’t be conscious
and yes…after the season finale of season two i’m pretty sure that the characters and story have outgrown bryke’s plan. and katang but that’s beside the point. and it’s just my opinion^^;;
and i can’t wait to read your fanfics^_^. i haven’t had a chance to read many recently…i really should write the next chapter of mine^^;. i keep getting distracted though.

You know in the trailer, how there is a scene of Zuko falling and there is someone else falling in the background? Dosen’t that look like Azula? How do you think tha twill play a part in the upcoming episodes ? Thanks for reading.

Oh, another thing! Neon tetras ship Zutara! Google them, you’ll see what I’m talking about…
My mom decided we could get some fish since we had a fish-bowl-shaped thing with some rocks in it, so I guess it was just a “what the hell, we’ll put fish in it!” so we went to Petco, and I saw these little fish called Neon Tetras and I demanded we get them, because they were Zutara fish! So we did, they were 5 for $5 and then my brother got 5 of whatever dumb fish he wanted…but point being, I have Zutara fish, and they’re so pretty!

So i looked at Jays deviant account and my first thought was “OMG! He looks just like my friend Jordan!” but then upon closer inspection I realized that I must just be delusional… But anyways, If its a fight you want girls, its a fight you will get! I will be victorious! Jay is mine! MUAHAhahahHAHA! lol.
I really don’t get what Katara would see in Aang either…It cant be his amazingly sexy body, and his mature demeanor! (I think I just choked on my own sarcasm…)
Kataang never settled well with me…it wasent even remotely cute, i found it rather annoying. I mean c’mon, who lays eyes on someone and thinks to himself “OMG! A girl, I think I love her!”?
Hes freaking 12! No 14 year old in her right mind would ever think a single romantic thought about a 12 year old! Thats just nasty. The maturity levels aren’t on the same planet (especially because girls are naturally more mature than boys)
Kataang is like a middle school romance where as Zutara is like a high school romance, A middle school romance would never last. Aang is just too young to even comprehend love, and I seriously doubt that by the time he realized what love is, that they would still be together.
p.s.- he only thing that Avatar has in common with Naruto is the sexy boys…thats about it…(and yes, I do read Naruto)

I’ve been going to San Diego Comic-Con both as a paying member and volunteer, since I was 16….and I am now 31. (Probably one of your oldest listeners! Hey we oldies like Avatar to ya know!) If you guys are looking for something to talk about in a podcast, you should talk about Stormbenders (even though Zoe isn’t as excited about it as everyone else…hehe). I didn’t start reading until the 13th chapter was up but I printed it out (don’t worry, I resized it and set the margins so I didn’t waste TOO much paper…*treekiller*) and read it all in two days. I was determined to get caught up since all the Zutarians were obsessing over it. I just think it would be cool to hear you guys talk about it a little bit more. I don’t think a whole podcast should be about that..an hour of Stormbenders talk would be a little much…but I like discussing it so hearing what you have to say would be interesting.
I’m excited to hear your next podcast, which I’m assuming is still going to be the Kataang vs Zutara debate! Any ideas when you’ll be able to do that?

Ok so I was on DeviantART and looking at Zutara art and then all of a sudden I was saying in my head “I am a zutarian no matter what they say!” I was adding zutara to the “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera song!

My brother is anti-Kataang already, and I never said anything to him! He has seen a few episodes and I was watching The Headband recently and he saw the part where Katara blushed and said “Ew how could she like him?” and it just made my day. ^^
