1. haha, yes i am a dude, a 22 yr old dude also, im not a geek, haha ( i just noticed that in one of the podcasts you said “guys that watch avatar are geeks” or w/e, tho i do agree that most are) and actually i know for a fact that im not your fan thats a dude, haha. just so you know. theres atleast one more. for the record, i also hate all podcasts except 4 you guys.

   p.s. can i stalk you at sdcc? (haha, not in a weird way, in a friendly way)

2. im replying to the email, but on here. ok, so as for theories about where iroh is, my number 1 is that hes gonna make all his white lotus connections and show up with some badass army when the final battle happens, maybe tht includes sokkas master….. number 2 is that hes gonna find ursa, and, who knows…. number 3 is that hes gonna show up to help the gaang……idk, they are just some ideas…..but i like 1 the best, hehe……

   o, and i know jay, hes right next 2 me, haha….i can vouch 4 him not being a geek, hahahahaha (and yes, he made me say that, lol, its true tho….)

3. I have a question (even though the Q & A is finished) but I was wondering; Would things be different if Avatar was on Cartoon Network (like Toonami)? Because it’s obvious that Nick is being really stupid and they already have enough profit from Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob, and etc. Cartoon Network could use a profitable show like Avatar. If not, why? And I wouldn’t mind hearing your thoughts on the ending because I’m a deviant that was spoiled. I honestly can’t understand how anything makes sense. Zutara never dies -Jessi

10. Don’t care about the spoilers, I already read the book. And I’d enjoy to hear what you guys thought of it. I had a question a few days back, but I kinda forgot what it was about. Once I remember it I’ll post it up. (and I thought it was a really good one too…:p) Nonetheless, great podcast, can’t wait for the next one.

12. Just recently discovered you two. First of all, love to hear you guys talk. Period.

    But the main reason why I decided to comment on this particular episode pertains to your Invader Zim policy. I have a teacher that used to work for Nickelodeon and would even bring in character designs, background work, and storyboard samples of Avatar, CatDog, Rugrats, and other Nick shows as samples for us (of course it was for classroom use only). Anyway, he had brought up Invader Zim months ago as a part of a lecture on how the Animation Industry works, and he said this: MONEY.

    It’s always about the money. Invader Zim’s violence was a factor because it attracted older audiences more than it the younger demographic and the ratings suffered for it. It takes thousands, even millions of dollars to make an animated episode for Invader Zim, and while it also takes the same if not more to make Avatar, it wasn’t able to attract as large and widespread age range of viewers as Avatar does. Thus, the ratings are much better.

    Because of Avatar’s success in this respect, it holds up quite well on its’ own in terms of merchandising, etc. to keep on going. This doesn’t excuse Nick from the poor mistreatment of Avatar, certainly. But again it’s more of a marketing thing:

    Keep in mind that Nick usually likes to make big events out of their shows. When the seasons come out they like to show the episodes in rapid succession. It works for their ratings and for another, they figure kids will probably have an easier time knowing when to catch a block of episodes as opposed to new ones airing sporadically. Remember, not all the kids who watch the show avidly seek air dates and scheduling like we do.

    Of course, as a result we get some pretty shitty stuff going on. But this is again, more of a marketing, corporate thing and we can only hang on for the ride.

    Wow, long ramble…But there you go, my two cents on this whole fiasco. That said, keep on truckin’ ladies. You’ve made a Zoe and Luna fan out of me ^^

    Zuko should had just quit Banishmente like Zim did now that I think about it… Completely agree with you there Invader Zim got screwed for no good reason

    You guys are just crazy… And I guess I must be too cause I can’t stop laughing xD I can’t believe Luna hadn’t seeing Labyrinth!! Its such a cool Jim Henson’s movie! And sadly I do think no one, even if they wanted could remain un-spoiled for too long… fortunately like with many things I was looking for spoilers anyway, tho I wasn’t expecting to be THAT BIG OF A SPOILER!! I was hoping we would get hints not like the whole book…

    So as far as talking about it, I WANNA HEAR YOUR OPINIONS! I barely got enough talk as it is

    On the Un-scared vs scared subject, I so got to say it, if they did THEY ARE DOING IT ALL WRONG! Zuko’s scared side is the one that should matter the most, the one that CHANGED, the one that has seeing the cruelty of the fire nation and has understood that it must stop, well sorry for ranting but I always thought it would had being like that, without the scar Zuko wouldn’t had being such a cool and well worked character…

    So… other then that… well you guys rock Might end up sending you a mail of FanFics, FanArt and maybe even Vids as over these three seasons I have colected a ridiculous amount of it… even tho now I don’t usually have the time to read fanarts anymore I happen upon you guys thanks to Irrel actually, and found Stormbenders through OrePookPook in deviantart too And don’t worry Luna I am a Deviantart man-whore XD Which reminds me Zoë the Stormbenders IS the greatest thing since sliced bread And Jessie if you have read this much, go check Fandomme’s Three Drinks series and Three Chores series it will probably be what you need to become a full blown Zutarian Tho not just for Zutara I search for pretty much anything I like So there you have another male fan

15. Wow, look at all the comments, thank you everyone! Luna and I are so stoked about the feedback, and we will post another podcast about it in a little over a week. For the time being, we will post up our ‘SUPER-massive CRAZY spoiler-ific PoDcAsT’ (the podcast about the book spoilers that we were going to wait on posting until July…) on Tuesday…or Wednesday actually, since we will be at Disneyland celebrating Luna’s birthday on Tuesday. 16. Yeah so me and my friend were spazzing over the podcast, but i cant remember why. I think it had something to do with the 15 cans of soda we had just finished, but whatever. It was still great. ((&&she said she wanted her name on the shirt if you could–kirtsen m)) and wanted me to tell ya that.And…i cannot make it to sdcc this year. that saddens me. stupid summer camp thing. i have to help run it. so yeah. avatar had better redeem itself on screen.

    I really love you guys, you’re so random and awesome its great! And I’m glad someone agrees with me about the fact that there was NO Zutara in the first season.

    I have a friend who is as Avatar crazy as I am, I mean we spazz together, glomp each other, and have long discussions about episodes at school…but I recently found out that he is a Kataanger and a Maikoian…ew…

    Sorry, that was a little random.

    I have been spoiled about the book. I intended to avoid the spoilers like a plague, but I was thwarted by a stupid monkey who posted spoilers without warning me and before I knew it i was spoiled on the whole Zutara vs. Kataang thing. But I friends and fanfic reviewers this before and I’ll say it again…whether zutara is cannon of fannon…it will always live in my heart. And trust me…I will never, under any circumstances, be a kataanger. Zutara will always be the greatest and most epic ship in the world of Avatar.

    And YES! The Little Mermaid supports Zutara!
